Had three separate stints with Atlanta and made his major league debut with a relief appearance on 8/9 at WSH…Spent the remainder of the season in the minor leagues ... Began the season with Double-A Mississippi, and went 1-2 with a 1.23 ERA (4 ER/29.1 IP) in eight games, seven starts…He was promoted to Triple-A Gwinnett on 5/12 and the Braves selected his contract for the first time on 6/27 ... Did not appear in that game and was optioned back to the Stripers that same day….Returned on 8/1 to Atlanta and again optioned back the same day ... Recalled on 8/7 and made his major league debut on 8/9 with 5.0 innings of relief at Nationals Park…Allowed four runs, earned, to take a no-decision in the longest appearance by a Braves reliever in 2018 ... Split his 2016 campaign between three levels of the Atlanta system, combining to go 0-2 with a 3.51 ERA (26 ER/66.2 IP) in 21 games (nine starts) between High-A Carolina, the GCL Braves and Double-A Mississippi ... Tossed 66.2 innings after pitching just 19.2 frames in 2015.
