Missed almost all of the season with a shoulder injury and will likely leave as a free agent. Went on the DL in June and never pitched again.
2003
Began season with MIL ... Earned 1st ML save, 4/17 vs HOU, his 6th appearance of season ... Placed on 15-day DL, 4/27, with left shoulder tendinitis ... Activated 5/27 ... Brewers won 6 of final 7 games he appeared in ... Traded to Phillies, 9/2 ... Earned the win in his Phillies debut, 9/4 vs NYM (0.2 IP); 1st Phillie to win his debut since Mike Timlin, 7/31/02 vs SF ... Made just 6 appearances for Phillies in September (4.0 IP).
2002
Season was delayed due to visa problems from the Dominican Republic ... equaled a career-high in wins ... opened the season at Triple A Indianapolis ... made two appearances for the Indians on May 13 and May 16 tossing two shutout innings ... was recalled from Indy to Milwaukee on May 17 ... made his first Major League appearance of the season on May 19 vs Chicago (N) ... was his first big league game since April 3, 2001 as he had recovered from arm surgery ... posted victories on June 3 vs Chicago (N) and July 7 at Cincinnati ... allowed nine of 28 (32%) of inherited runners to score ... posted a 0.64 ERA in 12 July outings giving up just one run in 14 innings ... had a career-best scoreless streak of 13.2 innings from July 4-28 ... pitched well at Miller Park logging a 1.99 ERA in 25 games ... limited lefthanders to a .219 average while righties hit .207 ... gave up one home run to a lefthanded hitter, a two-run shot to Houstonbs Daryle Ward at Minute Maid Park on September 25.
2001
Only made one appearance before going to the disabled list for the remainder of the season...tossed one inning at Houston on April 3 allowing one run...placed on the 15-Day Disabled List on April 4 with a torn ulnar collateral ligament in his left elbow...was transferred to the 60-Day Disabled List on April 6...underwent season-ending Tommy John surgery on April 13 in a procedure performed by Dr. Lewis Yocum.

Spent his first full season in the Brewersb bullpen setting career marks in wins (two), appearances (66), starts (two), innings pitched (73.2) and strikeouts (70) . . . made his first Major League start, an emergency start, on April 4 at Cincinnati . . . started his second and final game on April 9 at St. Louis . . . set career high working 10.1 consecutive scoreless frames April 14 - May 4 . . . posted career marks working 4.0 innings and striking out six batters May 4 vs Arizona . . . extended losing streak to career-high three consecutive decisions after losing his second game of the season on May 10 . . . recorded first Major League victory on June 3 vs Colorado . . . unable to convert on only save opportunity June 21 at Florida . . . worked three consecutive games August 25-27 . . . posted second victory of the season, the Brewers final victory at County Stadium, defeating the Cincinnati Reds on September 27.
1999
Made five April appearances before being placed on the 15-Day Disabled List on April 29 with a low back strain...underwent surgery in order to have a protruding disk removed from his lower back on June 23...surgery was performed by Dr. Spencer Block...activated from the Disabled List on September 23...made two appearances after returning to active roster giving up a hit and striking out a batter in two innings of work.
1998
Opened the season with Double A El Paso and went 6-2 with a 3.92 ERA in 42 games, including four starts...led the Diablos with 10 saves...was promoted to Triple A Louisville where he made five relief appearances... recalled by Milwaukee on July 26...made his Major League debut July 31 vs Arizona...worked 2.1 innings and gave up two hits and one run...tossed 3.0 hitless innings August 19 vs Cincinnati...allowed only two runs over his next seven appearances (14.2 innings).
1997
Opened the season on the Disabled List with a staph infection in his left groin...activated on May 9...pitched with Double A El Paso...started in his first 14 games...was part of two combined shutouts...began relief duty on July 27 and picked up one victory and two saves...finished a combined shutout on August 7 against Midland...struck out 15 and walked eight in 22.2 relief innings and held opponents to a .221 batting average.
1996
Spent season with Class A Beloit of the Midwest League...tied for league lead in complete games with five and shutouts with one...won first eight decisions from April 6-June 7...had five wins through May, second best in the league...struck out season-high 12 in a May 31 complete game win vs Kane County...named to mid-season Midwest League All-Star Game...moved to bullpen...picked up four saves, including saves in his final three appearances.
1995
Pitched for Chandler of the Arizona Rookie League...led league starters with a ratio of 1.12 walks/nine innings...was third in innings pitched (82.0)...was fourth among starters in runners per nine innings with a 10.73 mark...tied for fourth in games started (12), losses (six) and home runs allowed (three)...ranked fifth in ERA (2.20)...won consecutive starts on August 18 and 23...had a 3-1 mark to go with a 1.45 ERA (6 ER in 37.1 IP) in six August games.
