Thomas James Everidge (EV-ridge)...resides in Glen Ellen, CA with wife Kellie...graduated from Sonoma Valley High School (CA) in 2001...attended Sonoma State University...was a Baseball America Small College All-America selection in 2004 after batting .357 with 19 home runs and 69 RBI...originally selected by Oakland in the 10th round of the 2004 June draft...signed by A's scout Scott Kidd.

Began season at Midland (AA), earned promotion to Sacramento (AAA) on June 9 and made Major League debut with A's...at time of promotion to Oakland, was leading the minors in hits (136), ranked 3rd in RBI (85), 4th in total bases (222) and T5th in doubles (33)...made Major League debut July 28 at Boston...hit RBI double off Jonathan Papelbon for first ML hit...reached base safely via hit or walk in each of first 12 games (.295, 9 R, 5 2B, 6 RBI, 6 BB)...hit first ML home run Aug. 7 at Kansas City (off Joakim Soria)...optioned back to Sacramento on Aug. 28 and finished the season with the River Cats...batted .276 (8x29) with 7 RBI in 7 PCL playoff games...combined to bat .335 with 20 home runs and 94 RBI in 107 minor league games...topped 20 homers in each of last 4 minor league seasons...ranked 10th among full-season minor leaguers in batting average (.335)...named PCL Player of the Week for July 13-20 (.556/10x18, 3 2B, HR, 6 RBI)... rated as having the best strike zone judgement in the Pacific Coast League in Baseball America's annual best tools survey...claimed by Seattle from Oakland on Jan. 15, 2010... designated for assignment on Jan. 29 when Eric Byrnes signed as a free agent.

Ranked 3rd in all the minor leagues with 115 RBI at Midland...led the A's farm system in RBI, ranked 2nd in hits and doubles and T2nd in runs scored...led the minors in sacrifice flies (14)...led all Double-A batters in RBI, ranked 7th in total bases (248), T9th in extra base hits (56), 10th in runs and T10th in hits and doubles...named to the Texas League mid-season and postseason All-Star teams after leading the circuit in RBI and at bats (531), tying for the lead in games, ranking 2nd in strikeouts, 4th in hits and total bases, T4th in doubles, 5th in runs and extra base hits and T5th in home runs... earned Texas League Player of the Week honors twice; May 26-June 2 & July 28-Aug. 4... played for Carolina in the Puerto Rican Winter League following the season.

Led the A's farm system with 26 home runs and 94 RBI in 134 games with Stockton and Midland (AA)...also tied for the lead in total bases (233), 3rd in runs (82) and T3rd in slugging percentage (.469)...led the California League in homers and ranked 5th among all Single-A hitters...also combined for a career high 68 walks...led Stockton in home runs, RBI (90) and walks (66) and tied for the team lead in runs (75)...was batting .209 with five doubles, 10 home runs and 45 RBI in 62 games at the California League All-Star Break.
2006
Spent the entire season at Stockton (A)...ranked 5th in the California League with a 89 runs scored...ranked 2nd in the A's farm system in runs, 3rd in home runs (20), 4th in extra base hits (54) and total bases (223) and 5th in doubles and RBI...led California League first baseman with 128 games, 95 assists and 108 double plays.
2005
Spent his first full professional season with Kane County (A) in the Midwest League...hit for the cycle June 25 at Clinton, going 4-for-5 with 3 RBI.
2004
Made his professional debut with Vancouver...appeared in 71 games at first base and 3 at designated hitter...had 10-game hitting streak from July 11-21 (.317/13x41)... hit .455 (5x11) in 3 postseason games.
