Todd spent the season with Pittsburgh's Nashville (AAA) club and went 10-6 with a 4.95 ERA in 27 starts ... led the Pacific Coast League with a career-high 157 strikeouts in 163.2 innings of work ... tied for 4th in the league in starts and was 6th in innings pitched ... had three double-digit strikeout affairs, including a season-high 13 on August 30 vs. Omaha ... went the distance twice, as he worked at least 6.0 innings in 19 of his starts.

Todd pitched for four different teams over the course of the season, appearing in 38 games (25 starts) ... after attending Texas' spring camp as a non-roster invitee, he opened the year at Tulsa (AA) and made 1 start ... was then assigned to Oklahoma City (AAA), where he went 5-5 with a 3.72 ERA in 15 games ... joined the Rangers for a 4-start span June 20-July 13 ... in a June 25 start at Arizona, he worked 8.1 innings and picked up the win in a 9-4 decision ... was traded to Pittsburgh July 17 ... saw action in 18 games for the Pirates (7 starts) and was 1-2 with a 5.36 ERA ... made his first National League start July 22 and picked up the victory in a 6-4 decision vs. Florida ... singled off Colorado's Mark Brownson July 27 for his first major league hit.

Spent the entire season in the minors, seeing action with Kansas City's Omaha (AAA) club and Texas' Charlotte, FL (A), and Tulsa affiliates ... had gone to spring training with Anaheim, but was released March 26 ... signed with the Royals' organization April 17 and appeared in 11 games for Omaha (6 starts) before being released June 6 ... was signed by Texas June 12 and assigned to Charlotte, where he went 0-4 with 2 complete games in 6 starts ... after being transferred to Tulsa, he was 3-3 in 7 starts.

Opened the season in Oakland's starting rotation ... went on to go 1-5 in 28 games (6 starts) ... picked up his only professional save July 18 at Texas (5-4) ... was claimed off waivers by Detroit August 6 and finished the campaign with the Tigers, where he was 2-4 in 9 starts ... pitched his first M.L. shutout August 30, allowing 5 hits in a 4-0 victory vs. Kansas City.
