Began the season on the 60-day injured list. Went on rehab assignments to ACL Cubs, Single-A Mrytle Beach and Advanced-A South Bend … tossed a combined 1-0 record with a 5.10 ERA (7 ER/12.1 IP) with 19 strikeouts against only three walks. Appeared in 10 games (five starts) for Triple-A Iowa, going 0-0 with a 6.19 ERA (11 ER/16.0 IP) while holding batters to a .214 average.
2021
Recalled by Boston on Aug. 31, 2021 and made his season debut that day at Tampa Bay ... pitched 2.2 innings allowing two earned runs, two hits, and striking out three batters... In 22 appearances with Triple-A Worcester, he made 10 starts and went 5-4 with one save and a 4.68 ERA (38 ER/73.0 IP).
2020
Split the season between the Mets and Red Sox organizations...Threw 5.0 scoreless innings with NYM in spring training in February and March...Added to the Mets’ Club Player Pool on 7/13...Claimed off waivers by BOS on 7/25/20 and optioned to the Alternate Training Site...Designated for assignment on 8/19 but remained in the Club Player Pool.

Spent most of the season on the minor league injured list (April 1-May 21; May 25-August 10) with an elbow injury...Began the season with Rochester (AAA) in the Twins farm system....Made one start on May 21 against Buffalo...Allowed one hit and an earned run while striking out two and walking five, over 2.0 innings...Made his next start during a rehab assignment with the GCL Twins on August 10...Went 0-1 with a 2.00 ERA (two earned runs/9.0 innings) over five starts...Finished the season at Pensacola (AA), making two relief appearances...Allowed three earned runs over 2.0 innings.
