Appeared in the majors for a fifth consecutive season…selected to the Orioles active roster on June 17 and optioned back to the Triple-A level after taking the loss in a spot start on June 21 at SEA…designated for assignment on June 25 and outrighted to the minors on June 28…spent the rest of the season with Triple-A Norfolk.

Tossed 4.0 scoreless innings (1 H, 1 BB, 2 K) on 9/24 at BOS; the longest scoreless relief outing on the road by an Oriole since Vance Worley on 7/29/16 at TOR (4.0 IP)... Tossed a career-high 4.2 innings in relief on 9/17 vs. TOR; was the second-longest outing of his career (5.0 IP 10/1/15 at PHI)... Earned his first win of the season on 8/29 vs. TOR; his first win since 8/24/15 at PHI... Worked 2.0+ innings in seven of his 12 games, including 3.0+ innings four times... Had a 2.08 ERA (4 ER/17.1 IP) in seven home games and a 4.66 ERA (5 ER/9.2 IP) in five road contests... Began the season in Las Vegas (AAA), made one appearance and was recalled to New York (NL) on 4/14... Was recalled on 4/21 and 4/28 before being optioned on 5/3 and designated for assignment on 6/11... Made two appearances for the Mets on 4/18 vs. PHI and 4/30 at WSH... Recorded his lone Major League hit, an RBI double off Joe Ross at WSH (4/30) on the losing end of a 23-5 outcome... Claimed by the Cardinals off waivers from the Mets on 6/11 and was placed on the Memphis (AAA) roster... Pitched as a starting pitcher in his first outing in the Cardinals organization tossing 4.2 innings in a loss at Round Rock (6/17)... Was placed on the 7-day disabled list on 6/20 with a left elbow strain and was reinstated on 8/18 following a rehabilitation assignment with the GCL Cardinals... Made five rehab starts with the GCL Cardinals including four scoreless outings in his final four starts (8/8-15) covering 5.0 scoreless innings... Finished the season in the Memphis bullpen with six straight scoreless appearances from 8/19-9/3 covering 7.2 innings including a save vs. Iowa (8/30)... Made five post-season appearances for Memphis going 0-0 with a 14.73 ERA over 3.2 innings.
