Played in 120 games at the Triple-A level between Sacramento (Athletics) and Tucson (Padres) batting a combined .271 with 14 HR and 66 RBI...Made starts primarily at third base (81) and also left field (16) and first base (11)...Ranked T4th in the Pacific Coast League with 33 doubles...Was named Pacific Coast League Batter of the Week (May 20-27) batting .423 (11-26) with 3 HR, 7 RBI and eight runs scored; including a 5-for-6 performance at Tucson (5/25) hitting two home runs and four RBI...Batted .341 (29-85) in May with 7 HR and 22 RBI while posting a 1.093 OPS. His 7 HR in May were most among Athletics minor leaguers and T5th among Triple-A players...Posted 24 multi-hit games including 13 games with three hits or more. Began the season at Triple-A Oklahoma City but was promoted to Houston June 26 and spent the rest of
the season with the Astros...batted .259 with nine home runs and 26 RBI in 72 games in his first action
in the big leagues since 2010...had just seven home runs and 27 RBI in 80 games over four seasons
entering the year...in addition to home runs, had career-highs in games, at bats (201), runs (23), hits
(52), doubles (11), RBI, walks (16), strikeouts (56) and on-base percentage (.330)...was used primarily
against right-handed pitching, batting .263 (50-for-190) with all nine of his home runs and 25 of his 26
RBI...was 2-for-11 (.182) against left-handers...is just 2-for-24 (.083) against left-handers in his career,
compared to 91-for-361 (.252) with all 16 of his home runs and 52 of his 53 RBI...had a .360 average
with runners in scoring position and two outs...hit .307 at home, .221 on the road...seven of his nine
home runs were solo shots...was 3-for-5 (.600) with five walks and a hit by pitch (.818 on-base percentage) as a pinch hitter...made 22 starts at third base, 15 at first base, 12 in right field, three at second base

Began the year with the O's and appeared in four games; two as PH, one start at 2B, one start at 3B...Went 0-for-2 as a pinch hitter, striking out both times; April 2 vs. TB and April 6 vs. SEA...Hit a solo home run, his only hit of the season, and added a walk on April 8 @TEX...Was optioned to Triple-A Norfolk on April 11 and batted .247 (71-287) in 78 games with the Tides...

Spent most of the season in the Chicago Cubs organization before being acquired by the Orioles on August 31 along with RHP Rocky Cherry and a player to be named in exchange for RHP Steve Trachsel...Appeared in 17 games for the O's in the season's final month and made 9 starts at 3B and 3 starts at 1B...Batted .265 (85-231) with 19 HR and 69 RBI in 103 games for the AAA Iowa Cubs...Had 19 multi-hit games and 18 multi-RBI games...Was recalled by Chicago on July 20, going 0-for-5 in 2 games before being optioned back to Iowa on July 22...Was on the minor league DL, July 25-August 1, with a right foot injury...Went 2-for-4 and hit his first career grand slam off Daisuke Matsuzaka on September 8 vs.
Boston...Was his first hit as an Oriole...Played in 7 of 10 games on the season's final road trip, going 2-for-13...Started at 1B on September 21

2006
Spent the majority of the season at Double-A West Tenn, where he hit .276 with 28 doubles, 22 home runs and 75 RBIs in 132 games, and was named to the Southern League midseason and postseason All-Star teams. He was recalled from Triple-A Iowa on Sept. 4, and made his Major League debut as a pinch-hitter, getting hit by a pitch and scoring a run. He played third base in the Minors, but saw some action at first. He notched his first career hit and home run Sept. 7 against Pittsburgh.
2005
Scott hit .281 for Daytona (A) - and set career highs in doubles (31), home runs (20), RBI (82) and steals (22) in his first season in the Cubs organization ... was among Florida State League leaders in doubles (second) and extra-base hits (third, 53) ... went 2-for-4 with 2 home runs and 4 RBI April 14 against Vero Beach ... also drove in a season-high 5 runs August 6 against Jupiter as he went 4-for-6 with a home run ... collected Florida State League midseason all-star honors.

Scott spent his final season in the Tigers organization, batting .223 with 14 home runs and 56 RBI for Lakeland (A) ... belted a pair of home runs June 3 against Clearwater, going 2-for-3 with 4 RBI ... batted .289 with 8 extra-base hits and 11 RBI in 22 games in June ... drove in 5 runs May 3 against Daytona.

Batted .239 with 45 RBI at West Michigan (A) ... saw his first action at third base after being drafted in 2002 as a shortstop ... drove in a career-high 6 RBI July 2 against Lansing as he went 3-for-4 with a home run ... hit safely in a season-high 8 games from July 20-27, going 10-for-32 (.313) over the stretch.
