Was named to the Midwest League All-Star team while playing for Class A South Bend...Batted .306 in 75 games...Appeared with the White Sox in the midseason Windy City Classic against the Cubs at Comiskey Park.

1994

Batted .260 with a career-high 11 homers at Class A Prince William...On 8/13 vs. Salem, went 6- for-6 with 3 homers (including a grand slam), 6 RBI and 5 runs scored.

1995

Selected as the Carolina League's best defensive catcher by Baseball America after throwing out 56.3 percent of runners who attempted to steal off him at Class A Prince William...Also picked off 6 base runners.

1996

Saw his first major league action during 2 stints with the Chicago White Sox...Was recalled from AA Birmingham on 7/20 and made his big league debut on 7/24 vs. Oakland, going 2-for-3 with a double and RBI...Both hits came off Doug Johns...Went 4-for-6 in 2 games for Sox...Was returned to Birmingham on 7/28 and stayed there the remainder of the Southern League season before being recalled on 9/1...Led SL catchers by throwing out 38 of 67 would-be base stealers (56.7%) in 87 games at Birmingham.

1997

Played in 10 games in September for the Chicago White Sox after being called up at the end of AAA Nashville's season.

1998

Saw action in 34 games for the White Sox, including 33 starts at catcher, after being recalled from AAA Calgary on 7/19...Hit his first major league homer on 8/4, a 3-run shot at Tampa Bay off Tony Saunders...Led Pacific Coast League catchers by throwing out 62.9% of would-be base thieves (22-35).

1999

Began his final campaign in the Chicago White Sox organization at AAA Charlotte...Was released 5/19 after playing in 16 games...Signed by Montreal's AAA affiliate Ottawa on 5/21...After appearing in 21 games for Ottawa, his contract was purchased by the Expos on 6/28...Played in 17 games, including 3 starts at catcher, for Montreal and went 4-for-22.

2000

Spent most of the season with AAA Tacoma in the Seattle organization...Had a brief stint with the Mariners, 6/28-7/14...Hit a solo homer off Anaheim's Derrick Turnbow in his first Mariners start on 6/29...Led Pacific Coast League catchers by throwing out 53.0 percent of the baserunners who attempted to steal off him (35-66) while at Tacoma.

2001

Saw most extensive major league action with Chicago Cubs after his contract was purchased from AAA Iowa on 6/19...Appeared in 47 games behind the plate (34 starts) and had a .997 fielding percentage... Threw out 13 of 39 baserunners attempting to steal...Recorded his first 2 hits with the Cubs on 6/25 vs. New York, going 2-for-4 with a double and a homer that was a game-winning solo shot off Al Leiter...Also homered on 7/29 vs. St. Louis...Drove in at least one run in 8 straight starts, 6/7-7/15.

2002

Began season with the Chicago Cubs before being traded to Milwaukee on 6/9 in exchange for minor league OF Jackson Melian...Combined to bat .261 (55-211) between the Cubs and Brewers, with 14 doubles, a triple, 3 HR and 22 RBI...Batted .333 with a home run and 3 RBI with Chicago in April...Set career high collecting 3 hits on 4/12 at Pittsburgh while with Chicago...Equaled that on 8/16 at Pittsburgh, going 3-for-5 while with Milwaukee...Made first career appearance at first base in the second game of doubleheader on 9/2 at Chicago...In his first full month with Milwaukee, hit .278 with a home run and 7 RBI in July...Batted .333 in August...Hit right-handed pitching at a .275 clip with two home runs and 15 RBI between the Cubs and Brewers...Threw out 28.9 percent of would-be base stealers.

2003

Appeared in 18 games for the Orioles after his contract was purchased twice from AAA Ottawa, the 2nd time on July 21 for the remainder of the season.

Went to spring training with Milwaukee but was released on March 26...Signed a minor league contract with the Orioles on April 2 and was assigned to Ottawa.

Joined Ottawa on April 26 after spending 3 weeks at Orioles extended spring training camp in Sarasota while on the disabled list with a pulled left hamstring.

Hit a grand slam for his first homer of the season on May 4 vs. Toledo.

Contract was purchased by the Orioles on May 8 when Brook Fordyce went on MLB bereavement leave...Went 1-for-4 in his only game, catching the 2nd game of a doubleheader on May 9 at Kansas City.

Was returned outright to Ottawa following the game on May 12.

Hit .406 (26-64) with 4 doubles, 4 homers and 18 RBI in 16 games, June 23-July 11, to go into AAA All- Star break batting .327...Was recalled by the Orioles 10 days later on July 21, when Geronimo Gil was optioned to Ottawa.

At Ottawa, hit .335 in 59 games, including .362 off lefties and .325 off righties...Hit safely in 10 his last 11 games with the Lynx, batting .442 (19-43).

Including his first start on May 9, hit safely in his first 4 games for the Orioles.

Went 4-for-5 with an RBI on July 31 at Minnesota, matching his career high for hits...Was the 3rd 4-hit game of his career.

Entered in the 8th inning of the 2nd game of a doubleheader on September 26 at New York and had game-winning single in the 10th inning.

Had 3 games in which he threw out 2 runners attempting to steal and was 6-for-17 (35.3%) throwing out runners.

Was outrighted to AAA Ottawa on October 4 but elected free agency instead before re-signing with the Orioles.

Played for Magallanes in Venezuelan Winter League and batted .198, with 4 homers and 11 RBI in 30 games.
