Split his seventh season in the Florida organization between Albuquerque (AAA) and the Marlins... made 29 relief outings for Florida, with a span of 37.0 innings pitched, posting a 0-0 record with a 5.35 ERA... Made his Major League debut June 22 at Atlanta, allowing one walk and no hits in a scoreless eighth inning... earned first career hold in his second career appearance, on June 25 at Tampa Bay (0.1 IP)... was scored upon in just 10 of 29 appearances, including a season-high stretch of five consecutive scoreless appearances from August 26 to September 7 that spanned 8.1 innings...
