Played in 46 games for Memphis (AAA) before a right ankle injury, suffered while sliding into 2nd base on 6/23, sidelined him for the remainder of the season. Made one rehab start at Gulf Coast League level (7/15), going 1-for-1 with a double and walk... Batted over .300 for the fourth consecutive season, posting a .306 mark with 5 HR and 32 RBI... Hit right-handed pitchers at a .366 clip (37-101) with 4 HR and 24 RBI... Batted .362 (17-47) during the month of May... Had three 4-hit games and 15 multi-hit games on the season. Hit safely in 31-of-45 games in which he had an official at-bat... Recorded an RBI in five consecutive games from 5/6-10. Had an RBI in 18 games and multi-RBI in nine of those games...
