On 8/10 was diagnosed with right elbow inflammation and spent the rest of his season on the disabled list until he was released on 9/1...made 4 starts and 6 relief apps during 4 stints with the Reds (1g from 4/18-4/22, 5g/4gs from 5/11-6/5, 2g from 6/18-6/25, 1g on 7/18, 1g from 8/6-8/9)...in the 12-8 loss on 4/22 vs Chi became the first Reds reliever to throw 5.0 innings in a game since Keyvius Sampson threw 5.0 innings on 8/4/16 at Mil...was 1 of 3 Reds relievers to throw at least 5.0 innings in relief (Jake Buchanan, Asher Wojciechowski)...made all 4 of his starts during his second stint, from 5/13-5/29 (0-3, 7.84)...in his first appearance after he was promoted the second time started the 3-1 loss on 5/13 at SF, the afternoon following the previous night's 17-inning game, and threw his only career complete game (8ip, 6h, 3er, 2bb, 5k, 2hr)...in that start recorded his only Major League hit, a single off Matt Moore...earned his only victory for the Reds on 6/5 vs StL...threw just 8 pitches in a perfect seventh to keep the deficit at 2-0, then earned the victory when the Reds scored 4 runs in the bottom of the inning...retired the first batter in 4 of his 6 relief apps...both inherited baserunners scored...did not enter a game in a save situation...Reds went 2-8 in games in which he pitched..was claimed off waivers from the Pirates on 2/13, the day pitchers and catchers reported to spring training camp in Goodyear...on 12/19 was signed by the Indians to a minor league contract.

Spent the season with Dodgers' affiliates at Class AA Tulsa and Class AAA Oklahoma City...combined to finish 5-7, 3.97 with 2 saves in 13 starts and 18 relief apps...on 2/13/17, the day Reds pitchers and catchers reported to spring training, was claimed off waivers from the Pirates.

Spent the season on the Dodgers' 60-day disabled list recovering from "Tommy John" surgery to repair the torn ulnar collateral ligament in his right elbow...surgery was performed on 4/15...was non-tendered in December but then was re-signed by LAD to a minor league contract for 2016.
