Spent the majority of the season with Triple-A El Paso, also pitching in one game for San Diego....Made his only Major League appearance of the season on 8/3 at MIL, allowing one run on one hit with a strikeout and a walk over 1.0 inning…recalled from Triple-A El Paso on 8/1 and optioned back on 8/5....Appeared in 38 games out of the bullpen for the Chihuahuas, pitching to a 2-0 record with a 2.90 ERA(16 ER, 49.2 IP) and 68 strikeouts against 21 walks while limiting opponents to a .169 average....Did not allow a run over his last 11 minor league outings and 15.0 innings from 6/24 through the end of the season, allowing a .100 (5-for-50) opponents average with 23 strikeouts against six walks in that time....Limited left-handed hitters to a .133/.235/.200 (8-for-60) line in Triple-A and right-handers to a .188/.269/.316 (22- for-117) line....Had one stint on the seven-day DL with Triple-A El Paso.
