Was assigned to Triple-A Oklahoma City on June 17, tossing a 3-1 record with a 2.93 ERA (14 ER/43.0 IP) while holding batters to a .262 average... Spent the entirety of the season with Double-A Tulsa, going 2-10 in 17 games, compiling a 5.01 ERA (36 ER/64.2 IP) … held righties to a .263 batting average and lefties to .247. Garnered a career-high 10 strikeouts on June 26 vs. Midland, tossing 6.0 innings while not factoring in the decision … allowed two earned runs on nine hits. Punched out three or more batters in 15 of his 17 outings…pitched 5.0+ innings in five games, firing 6.0 innings on two occasions: May 27 and June 26. Recorded three scoreless outings, May 20 at Amarillo, Aug. 27 at Arkansas and Sept. 2 at Northwest Arkansas.

Split the season between Advanced-A Great Lakes (10 G, 5 GS) and Double-A Tulsa (6 GS). With Advanced-A Great Lakes, earned a 5-0 record and a 2.50 ERA (11 ER/39.2 IP), striking out 55 and walking only three. With Double-A Tulsa, compiled a 2-1 record with a 4.37 ERA (11 ER/ 22.2 IP), holding batters to a .221 batting average. Recorded his first professional win on June 21, 2021 with Advanced-A Great Lakes against the Dayton Dragons in his second professional game, tossing three innings and striking out five. Named AFL Rising Star in 2021 for Glendale Desert Dogs. Awarded Midwest League Pitcher of the Month for July 2021 … posting a 3-0 record (5 G, 4 GS) and a 1.54 ERA (4 ER/ 23.1 IP) and holding batters to only 14 hits and punching out 37 batters.
