Limited to just 12 games with the Padres, going 2-2 with a 5.06 ERA (6 ER in 10.2 IP) with 13 strikeouts...On the injured list from April 22-May 1 with right shoulder inflammation...Placed on 60-day injured list May 23 with the forearm injury…underwent Tommy John surgery May 19 (performed by Dr. Keith Meister) and missed the remainder of the season.

Made just 3 appearances for PIT, allowing 1 run in 2.0 IP in a campaign that was shorted due to a forearm injury...Picked up his second win in PIT's walk-off victory on Aug. 16 vs. CHC...Made 13 straight scoreless outings with the Pirates from Apr. 21 thru Aug. 19 (12.0 IP) and posted a 0.39 ERA (1 ER, 23.0 IP) in his final 24 big league appearances...Picked up his only save on Sept. 25 vs. CHC — his first since pitching with TEX on July 29, 2018...Held RHH to a .164 AVG (11-for-67).

Was a member of a Major League Opening Day roster for a fourth time - his first with Pittsburgh (was with Texas in 2015-16 and 2018)... (1st, .135) and opp. OPS (7th, .479)… missed nearly 2 months on the disabled list due to a pair of trips to the disabled list with right shoulder soreness (6/30-7/19 and 8/5-9/11).
TEXAS // Posted a team-high 11 holds despite finishing T5th on the club with 39 relief appearances...initially recalled from Round Rock (AAA) on 4/17 and did not allow a run over 6 G (6.1 IP) in April…held opponents 0-for-16 to start the season… surrendered season-high 4 runs on a Marwin Gonzalez grand slam on 5/2 at HOU and posted a 5.28 ERA (9 ER/15.1 IP) from 5/2-6/9…had 12.2 scoreless innings over 13 G from 6/10- 8/3, opponents batted .095 (4-42) w/ one XBH in that span… ERA over final 26 outings beg. 5/19 was 1.75 (5 ER/25.2 IP)… converted 2 of 3 save chances: 5/21 at DET and 9/21 at SEA… matched career high with 4 SO (all consecutive) to earn win in club's comeback win on 6/10 at WAS…also had 4 K's, 5/19 at DET.
