In his second season in the Braves organization, spent the season with the Double-A Mississippi Braves, logging 35 appearances out of the bullpen, going 2-5 with a 4.07 ERA. Opened the season on Lynchburg's (High-A) roster, but spent the first six weeks of the season, from 4/5- 5/12, on the disabled list with right forearm tightness. Transferred to Mississippi on 5/12. First appearance of the season came 5/13 vs. Huntsville (1.0 IP, 1 BB, 1 K). Had a second stint on the disabled list, from 7/9 (retroactive 7/4) to 7/20, with right shoulder tendinitis. Logged 70 strikeouts in 42.0 innings, for an average of 15.0 strikeouts per 9.0 innings pitched. Posted a 1.23 ERA (22.0 IP/3 ER) through his first 15 appearances of the season. Logged 39 strikeouts in 22.0 IP while holding opposing batters to a .159 batting average in that span. In two seasons in the Braves organization, has logged 143 strikeouts in 93.1 innings pitched, for an average of 13.8 strikeouts per 9.0 IP, while holding opponents to a .186 batting average and converting 18 of 20 save opportunities. Pitched at a 6.10 ERA (7 ER/10.1 IP) in 10 games for the Scottsdale Scorpions of the Arizona Fall League. Rated by Baseball America as the Braves' 27th-best prospect entering the 2014 season.

2012

Named by Baseball America as the Braves' 20th-best prospect entering the 2013 season. The hard-throwing right-hander went a perfect 18-for-18 in save opportunities at Lynchburg (A), leading all Braves farmhands and ranking second in the Carolina League. Made eight straight appearances without allowing a run from 6/12-7/5, striking out 11 in 10.2 innings pitched in that span. Posted a 1.64 ERA (2 ER/11 IP) with six saves in the month of June. Held opposing hitters to a .173 batting average and struck out 73 batters in 51.1 innings pitched (12.9 K/9)

Missed the entire season after undergoing Tommy John surgery on his right elbow in April.

2009

Combined to go 5-2 with 2.10 ERA in 14 games/12 starts for Hagerstown of the Single-A South Atlantic League and Vermont of the Rookie-level New York-Penn League in 2nd domestic season...set career high with 55.2 innings, which were more than double previous career total.

2008

In first domestic season, posted a .232 batting average against in 8 games/2 starts for Rookie-level GCL Nationals, who eventually claimed GCL Championship...struck out 23 in 19.0 innings, or 10.9 per 9.0 innings...notched a 3.60 ERA in 2 starts, both of which came in July.

2007

Simply dominated 3rd and final tour of the Rookie-level Dominican Summer League, this time pitching for the DSL Nationals 1...closed the season with 13 consecutive scoreless appearances spanning 25.1 innings...in those same 13 appearances, walked 10 and struck out 31 en route to posting a .116 batting average against.

2006

In first season with DSL Nationals 2, worked scoreless ball in 4 of 6 appearances...recorded only professional save, July 28 vs. DSL Padres.

2005

Pitched in 9 games, posted a .176 batting average against and fanned 14 in 14.1 innings in pro debut with DSL Nationals.
