Akron on June 5 when Carlos Santana came off the 7-day DL...Hit safely in his last 3 games with the Tribe, May 27-29. Hit .303 (30-99) in July with 8 2B, 4HR & 24 RBI in 27 games, including a 4-for-4, 2B, HR & 8RBI performance on
July 8 at Bowie...Hit a grand slam in that game and had one other slam with Akron and 17RBI with the bases loaded...
