2012

Posted a 0.52 ERA (17.1 IP, 1 ER) in 14 May games, ranking second in baseball in ERA for the month (minimum 15.0 IP). ... Struck out a career-high five batters twice -- April 15 vs. Arizona and July 20 at San Diego. ... Made 100th career appearance July 3 at St. Louis. ... STINGY: In 16 games this season allowed opposition to hit only .237 (18-76) and allowed seven hits to lefthanders as they were limited to a .219 average ... On Sept.10 pitched a career high three innings of relief (H, ER, 2K, HR)... Recorded multiple strikeout outings in seven of 16 games, including three on two occasions...Held opponents to a .167 average at Rogers Centre... IN THE MINORS: Posted a career high nine wins for Las Vegas (AAA) which led the Club... Began the season by pitching 10.2 consecutive scoreless innings... In 24 of his 36 appearances pitched more then one inning and in 15 games pitched at least two innings.

2009

Acquired on July 31 along with 3B Edwin Encarnacion & RHP Zachary Stewart from Cincinnati, in exchange for 3B Scott Rolen... Combined to go 0-0 with a 5.23 ERA in 24 games, between Cincinnati and Toronto... DAYS OF RED: Spent most of the 2009 season in the Cincinnati organization at Louisville (AAA)... Apeared in 27 games, picking up 12 saves and a win, to go with a 2.57 ERA, while walking only six and striking out 32 in 28 innings of work for the Redbirds... BACK TO THE BIGS: Was summoned to the Reds for a stretch between June 18 and July 16, pitching in 10 games, before being optioned back to Louisville... Was recalled in time for a July 29 appearance his final one as a Red before being traded... NICE START: Was not scored upon in his first six games with Reds in 2009, totaling 8.1 innings, a career high scoreless streak... In Cincinnati made a total of 11 appearances all in relief, pitching to a 2.70 ERA... Struck out 14 batters in 13.1 innings... JAY DAYS: Made his Blue Jays debut on Aug. 2 at OAK, tossing one scoreless inning... Was scored upon in eight of 13 outings with the Blue Jays, resulting in a 7.13 ERA... Struck out 19 in his 17.2 frames, however he did add 12 walks... In 57 apps at Class AA Chattanooga and Class AAA Louisville combined to finish 6-2, 2.80 with 13 saves...among all Reds farmhands ranked T2nd in saves...was promoted following the International League playoffs...in the 10-inning, 3-2 victory on 9/13 at Ari became the 10th and final Reds player to make his Major League debut in 2008, joining RHP Johnny Cueto, IF Paul Janish, OF Jay Bruce, LHP Daniel Ray Herrera, RHP Daryl Thompson, IF Adam Rosales, OF Chris Dickerson, RHP Ramon Ramirez and C/IF/OF Wilkin Castillo...in his debut recorded his first career strikeout (Mark Reynolds).

2007

At Class A Sarasota and Class AA Chattanooga led all Reds minor league pitchers with 24 saves...combined to finish 4-2, 2.31 in 46 relief apps...in Baseball America's Best Tools issue was rated the best reliever in the Florida State League...was selected to participate in the Florida State League All-Star Game...began the season at Sarasota and in 27 apps there went 2-1, 3.25 with 16 saves in 18 chances before he was promoted to Chattanooga on 6/21...finished the season 1-1, 0.95 with 8 saves in 9 save opps over 19 apps for the Lookouts...did not allow a run in 16 of his 19 apps for Chattanooga...on 1/17/08 was invited to Major League spring training camp.

2006

In his first professional season combined to finish 2-0, 4.63 with 6 saves in 21 relief apps for the rookie league Gulf Coast Reds and Billings... Opponents hit just .207... Recorded 33 strikeouts in just 23.1 innings.
