Right-handed reliever split his time between the Padres' bullpen and that of triple-A El Paso in 2016, posting a 5.05 ERA, 5.0 K/9 and 4.3 BB/9 in 35.2 innings in the big leagues...Struggled with his control at El Paso, with 25 walks in 35.2 innings...Inked a minor league deal with a spring training invite with the Giants in November.

Spent the majority of the season with Triple-A Durham, missing parts of the season with a pair of stints on the seven-day disabled list, also seeing time with Tampa Bay...Began the season with Durham before being recalled by Tampa Bay on April 15 and pitching 5.2 scoreles innings over four appearances before being optioned back on April 24...In his final outing on April 24 vs. Toronto he earned his first career Major League victory after working 1.1 scoreless innings...Had two stints on the seven-day disabled list with Durham from April 30-May 16 and June 5-23 before being designated for assignment on Aug. 16 and outrighted to Durham on Aug. 21...Was acquired by the Rays prior to the start of the season on Nov. 20, 2014 from the Dodgers along with RHP Greg Harris in exchange for RHP Joel Peralta and LHP Adam Liberatore.

Made the Dodgers Opening Day roster, but appeared in only 5 games over four stints...spent the remainder of the season with Triple-A Albuquerque, where he led the Isotopes with a career-high 10 saves...Only one of his 5 outings was scoreless...threw 2 perfect frames on April 4 vs. SF, with 3 SO...Averaged 96.9 mph on his fastball, according to PITCHf/x...Made his season debut on March 23 vs. ARI at the Sydney Cricket Grounds in Australia, the second game of the major league season...yielded 3 R/ER in the 9th inning but earned no decision in the 7-5 win...Briefly optioned to Triple-A after the opening series but recalled on April 2 when RH Brian Wilson was placed on the DL...pitched in 2 more games and was optioned a week later...returned for a week in late April and again for three days on May 2...last major league outing was May 2 at MIA...Last pitched for Albuquerque on July 25 and was placed on the DL with right shoulder inflammation...made 2 rehab outings for Short-A Ogden in early September.

In nine appearances for the Dodgers in 2013, posted a 2.16 ERA (2 ER/8.1 IP) with three walks and four strikeouts...allowed only one extra base hit, a double, in 8.1 innings for Los Angeles after having his his contract selected by the Dodgers on June 29... Was placed on the 15-day disabled list on July 23 with a left quad strain and was transferred to the 60-day disabled list on Sept. 14... Went a combined 2-0 with five saves and a 1.78 ERA in 22 combined minor league appearances with Double-A Chattanooga and Triple-A Albuquerque…limited opposing hitters to a .108 batting average with 40 strikeouts in 25.1 combined innings... Opened the season with Chattanooga and tossed scoreless relief in 12 of 14 appearances, going 1-0 with five saves and a 2.60 ERA (5 ER/17.1 IP)…limited opponents to a .138 batting average (8-for-58) with the Lookouts with 28 strikeouts... Promoted to Albuquerque on June 9 and allowed just one hit, while striking out 12 in eight scoreless innings in eight appearances…posted a .040 opponents' batting average (1-for-25), while issuing only five walks…did not allow a hit to a right-handed hitter at Triple-A (0-for-16, nine strikeouts)... Did not allow a run in his last 14 minor league appearances (15.0 IP) with Chattanooga and Albuquerque prior to his Major League call-up... Following the season, pitched for Licey in the Dominican Winter League, going 0-1 with a 5.40 ERA in 10 appearances…struck out eight in 10.0 innings and limited opponents to a .222 batting average, including a .091 mark against right-handers (2-for-22).

Combined to go 4-4 with a 4.90 ERA in 38 games (five starts) with Single-A Great Lakes and Double-A Chattanooga... Opened the season with the Loons, where he went 1-1 with a 9.64 ERA (20 ER/18.2 IP) in five starts and 3-2 with four saves and a 3.71 ERA (22 ER/53.1 IP) in 28 relief appearances…used exclusively as a reliever after June 3... Limited right-handed hitters to a .224 batting average (34-for-152) with 55 strikeouts with Great Lakes... Promoted to Chattanooga on Aug. 19, allowing just one run and two hits in 7.0 innings in five appearances (1.29 ERA)…struck out nine without issuing a walk... Did not allow a baserunner or run in four of his five Double-A appearances.
