Jordan Ladon Sheffield…younger brother is Justus Sheffield (Seattle)...Attended Tullahoma High School and Vanderbilt University...Was a Rawlings First Team All-American and a member of the 16U Team USA in high school...Member of the 2014 College World Series runner up team with Vanderbilt.

2020

Did not pitch due to the COVID-19 pandemic...Was invited to Spring Training and allowed three runs over 3.2 innings and four appearances...Participated in the Instructional League in Arizona during the offseason.

2019

Went 4-5 with a 3.27 ERA (20 ER/55.0 IP) in 49 games (two starts) while splitting the season between Advanced-A Rancho Cucamonga and Double-A Tulsa...Was promoted to Double-A Tulsa on May 15, and during his first 13 relief appearances, he allowed only two earned runs in 15.1 innings while striking out 26 batters...As a member of the Drillers, he held batters to a .193 batting average, including a .173 mark against right-handers... recorded a 2-3 record with a 2.72 ERA (11 ER/36.1 IP) in 32 relief appearances at the Double-A level, striking out 46 while holding opponents to a .180 average.

2018

Spent the majority of the season with Advanced-A Rancho Cucamonga, where he went 1-3 with a 6.88 ERA (26 ER/34.0 IP) in 14 games (seven starts)...Struck out 40 batters in 34.0 innings with the Quakes…held left-handed batters to a .245 batting average...Was placed on the 7-day injured list on May 13 and made three relief appearances (one start) with the AZL Dodgers, tossing 3.0 scoreless innings with four strikeouts...Was named a 2018 Arizona Fall League "Rising Star".

2017

Combined to go 3-9 with a 4.70 ERA (56 ER/107.1 IP) in 35 games (24 starts) with Single-A Great Lakes and Advanced-A Rancho Cucamonga...Established career highs in innings pitched (107.1) and strikeouts (109).

2016

Went 0-1 with a 3.75 ERA (5 ER/12.0 IP) in eight games with Single-A Great Lakes and AZL Dodgers...Spent the majority of his first professional season with the Loons, allowing five earned runs in 11.0 innings across seven starts.
