Drafted by Kansas City in the seventh round of the 2002 June Draft...attended Trinity College in Hartford, Conn., where he earned Pitcher of the Year honors in the New England Small College Athletic Conference in 2002.
2010
Released by Toronto after spring training and signed with Houston...assigned to Triple-A Round Rock where he posted a 2.93 ERA (40-IP, 12-ER) in 26 apps before the All-Star break...went 0-1 with a 4.62 ERA (25.1-IP, 13-ER) in 17 apps after the break.
2009
Did not make the Blue Jays roster out of spring training and was sent to Triple-A Las Vegas...on July 28, asked for and was granted his release from Toronto so that he could sign with the Saitama Seibu Lions of the Japanese Pacific League...made 19 relief apps for the Lions and re-signed with Toronto the following spring.

Designated for assignment by the Pirates during spring training and outrighted to Indianapolis...traded to Toronto on June 19.
