Made one rehab appearance (1.0IP, 1R/0ER) for the Rookie-level ACL Mariners before being released on 6/21…underwent “Tommy John” surgery on 7/1…the surgery was performed by Dr. Timothy Kremchek…was signed by the Yankees to a three-year minor league contract on 7/25.

Appeared in 17 games in relief during this rookie campaign, going 1-1 with 4 holds and a 4.02 ERA…limited opponents to a .241 (13x54) average, while walking five and striking out six...Selected from the Mariners alternate training site in Tacoma on Aug. 4...Made his Major League debut on Aug. 24 vs. LAA, tossing 1-2-3 6th inning...
