Enjoyed a pair of stints with the Dodgers and spent the majority of the year with Triple-A Las Vegas, where he hit .283 with 26 doubles, 12 homers, and 50 RBI in 121 games...posted a team-high 89 runs scored and a team-best 20 steals...Was first recalled to the Dodgers on June 30, when Juan Pierre was placed on the 15-day disabled list...appeared in four games (one start) before being optioned back to Las Vegas on July 4, when Andruw Jones returned from the DL...was hitless in seven at-bats during the stint...Was recalled again on Sept. 1, and was used as a pinch-hitter, pinch-runner, and defensive replacement in the outfield...went 3-for-11 (.273) with a double and two walks in September...With Vegas, put together a 14-game hitting streak from June 1-15, batting .417 (25-for-60) with 17 runs scored...hit .375 (39- for-104) in 26 games in June...Earned the Dodger Pride Award for Las Vegas in August, when he hit .312 (29-for-93) with four homers and 11 RBI in 26 games...went 11-for-20 (.550) with two doubles, two homers, five RBI, and eight runs scored in his final five games...With Vegas, hit .356 (42-for-118) against left-handers and .258 (88-for-341) against right-handers...Hit three first-inning leadoff home runs: April 27 vs. Portland, June 14 at Salt Lake (first game of doubleheader), and July 25 vs. Omaha

Missed the entire season after suffering a torn left hamstring while attempting to catch a fly ball on March 22 during Spring Training...Was batting .333 (9-for-27) with a .419 on-base percentage, .519 slugging percentage, and one spring homer at the time of the injury...Underwent surgery on March 28 to reattach his hamstring tendons

2006

Finished the year with a .254 average (33-for-130), three homers, 16 RBIs and 10 stolen bases, which was third on the club. Played 40 games in center field, 13 in left and 13 in right. ... Made 21 starts in center, three in left and four in right. Was the Opening day center fielder after Kenny Lofton landed on the disabled list. ... Suffered a severely sprained left ankle on May 9 against Houston, crashing into the center-field wall in an attempt to rob a home run. Was placed on the disabled list May 11 and came off July 24, missing 67 games. At the time of his injury, was batting .304 (21-for-69) with three home runs, 12 RBIs and eight stolen bases in 25 contests. After missing 67 games, returned to the team and batted .133 in his first 15 games before going 8-for-35 in his last 30 games. ... Hit .344 (11-for-32) with a homer and 12 RBIs with runners in scoring position. Hit .328 (20-for-61) with three home runs, four doubles, a triple, 12 RBIs and six stolen bases in April. Accomplished the first multi-steal game of his career on May 6 vs. Milwaukee when he stole second and third as a pinch-runner...Was perfect on April 4 going 3-3 with a walk while driving in a run...Had his second three hit game of the season on Aug. 28 vs.the Reds and drove in two runs... Appeared in the Major Leagues for the first time serving as the Dodgers most versatile outfielder, playing 58 games in center field, 24 in left and 42 in right ... Ranked ninth among National League rookies in stolen bases (5) and tied for fourth in both triples (3) and outfield assists (7) ... Had two extended stints with the Major League team, from Opening Day until May 25 and then from June 3 for the duration of the season during which time he hit .221 with 8 homers, 30 RBI and 43 runs scored in 276 at-bats ... Hit .304 (24-for-79) with 12 RBI in the month of July, including a career-high five-game hitting streak from July 4-8, during which he hit .500 (10-for-20) ... Made his Major League debut on April 6 at San Francisco, doubling home a run in the sixth inning for his first Major League hit, yet the RBI was removed when it was ruled that Cesar Izturis had missed third base ... Hit his first Major League home run on April 10 at Arizona against Oscar Villarreal ... Homered in his first at-bat at Dodger Stadium on April 12 vs. San Francisco ... Had two triples on Sept. 26 vs. Pittsburgh, marking the first time a Dodger has accomplished that feat since Eric Anthony on May 18, 1997 ... Started season with Double-A Jacksonville, before earning a June promotion to Triple-A Las Vegas and becoming the 51s' regular center fielder...in a combined 121 games, batted .303 with 13 homers, six triples, 37 doubles, 60 RBI and 81 runs scored, all career highs...the 37 doubles topped all Dodger minor leaguers...had 46 multi-hit games, including two four-hit efforts, both for Las Vegas...in 46 games with Jacksonville, hit .291, collecting six homers, two triples, 11 doubles, 19 RBI, 26 runs scored and 10 stolen bases...played all three outfield positions, including 33 in left field...for Las Vegas in 75 games, hit .311 with seven homers, four triples, 26 doubles, 41 RBI and 55 runs scored...during August, hit .333 (36-for-108) in 25 games with 15 doubles, two triples, one homer, 19 RBI and 19 runs scored...put together a 13-game hitting streak for Jacksonville from April 24-May 7, during which he batted .426 (23-for-54), compiling two homers, a pair of doubles, seven RBI and 10 runs scored....got a hit in 19 of 20 games from April 27-May 7...batted .318 (27-for-85), stealing eight bases in 22 April contests...had a nine-game hitting streak for Las Vegas from Aug. 20-28, batting .349 (15-for-43) and racking up eight doubles, a triple and seven RBI...following the season, played for Scottsdale in the Arizona Fall League and tied for the league lead with eight homers, batting .291 and adding seven doubles, two triples, 25 RBI and 20 runs in 31 contests...was named as a right fielder on the AFL All-Prospect Team, as selected by league managers and coaches.

Spent the entire season with Double-A Jacksonville appearing in 119 games ... Hit .240 with 10 home runs, 14 doubles, five triples, 62 runs scored, 23 RBI and 21 stolen bases ... Played 72 games in left field, 39 in center and two in right for the Suns.

2002

Played in 120 games for Single-A Vero Beach, predominantly in center field after three seasons as a shortstop ... Selected to play in the Florida State League All-Star Game during a season in which he tallied a .272 average, 29 doubles, 29 stolen bases, nine home runs, 53 RBI and 73 runs scored.

2001

Hampered by a back injury, saw action in only 88 games for Single-A Wilmington ... The injury stemmed from a broken vertebrae on the right side of his back in 2000...doctors told to play as hard as possible and dive as much as possible in order to break the vertabrae on the opposite side (left) in his back in order to break a vertebrae the other side, which he did ... Entered campaign rated as the Dodgers fourth-best prospect by Baseball America.

2000

Suffered a torn hamstring during Extended Spring Training and was limited to just eight games for Single-A Yakima.

1999

Started his pro career with an impressive campaign for Rookie-level Great Falls picking up a Pioneer League All-Star selection ... Tied for the league lead with nine triples, which was also second-best among all short-season minor leaguers ... Led Great Falls in batting average (.304), home runs (8) and RBI (32) while also scoring 51 runs and stealing 12 bases in 49 games.
