Split the campaign between Bakersfield (High-A) and Hickory (A)...combined to go 7-10 with a 4.69 ERA (69 ER/132.1 IP) with 2 complete games, a shutout, and 106 strikeouts against 50 walks...opened the season with Bakersfield...on DL June 4-14 with calf strain...made one relief appearance upon return before transfer to Hickory on June 29...recorded a quality start in 9 of 13 starts with the Crawdads...logged first career complete game on July 18 at Lexington...recorded 2nd complete game of the season and first career shutout on Aug. 10 at Greensboro, allowing singles to the first two batters of the game before setting down the final 26 batters of the contest, including a career-high 12 via strikeouts...was named the South Atlantic League Pitcher of the Week following the Aug. 10 shutout.

2009

Spent the entire season with Hickory...began the season alternating between starting and relief roles in first year removed from elbow surgery...was 2-8, 5.27 (40 ER/68.1 IP) in 17 starts and 0-3, 6.33 (15 ER/21.1 IP) with one save in 8 relief appearances...held right-handers to a .260 average (54-208), while lefties batted .338 (50-148)...was 1- 1, 1.77 (4 ER/20.1 IP) with one save over his first 5 games/3 starts and 1-10, 6.62 over his last 20 games/14 starts...ended the season in the rotation, going 0-5, 5.97 (19 ER/28.2 IP) in 7 consecutive starts.

Missed entire campaign recovering from ligament transplant surgery on his right elbow performed on Nov. 14, 2007 by Rangers Team Physician Dr. Keith Meister at the Medical Center of Arlington.

2007

Spent the entire season in Spokane (Short-A) rotation, finishing 4th in the Northwest League in ERA (3.16) and innings pitched (77.0)...won 4 of his first 5 decisions... tossed 6.0 shutout innings in back-to-back wins July 17 at Vancouver and July 22 vs. Boise...allowed 3-or-fewer earned runs in 13 of 15 starts...held the opposition to a .207 avg. (17-82) with runners in scoring position...ranked 2nd in league in home runs allowed (9)...had the 2nd-lowest ERA in the organization.

2006
