Following a one year stint in the Giants organization, signed a Minor League contract with Angels and began season at Triple-A Salt Lake...Compiled a 3-2 record with six saves and a 3.96 ERA (52.1 IP - 23 ER) in 45 games (one start)...Had contract selected by Angels, July 20...Spent three separate stints with Halos, posting a 1-0 record with a 6.00 ERA (9 IP - 6 ER) in 12 games...Made Angels debut July 23 at Baltimore (0.2 IP, 0 H, 0 BB)...Opposing hitters hit .432 (16/37) against him, with left-handed batters hitting.318 (7/22) compared to .600 (9/15) for right-handers.

Endured an injury-plagued season in which he missed nearly four months. He strained his left hamstring on April 5, and didn't return to the rotation until May 27. In his fist six starts off the disabled list, he was 4-2 with a 2.71 ERA. His season ended after he partially tore the tendon pulley in his left middle finger on Aug. 7.

His 31 HRs allowed tied for 11th in the majors and his 1.38 HRs allowed per 9 IP was the 11th-highest average in the majors...Did not earn a decision in his 2005 debut vs. the Mets on 4/9, a 6-3 Braves win. Horacio tossed four scoreless innings before allowing two runs on three hits and a walk and making his exit with two outs in the fifth inning...Notched his first win with an 11-4 decision at PHI on 4/15. Went 5.1 innings, allowing two runs in the first (after the Braves scored four in the first) and another run in the sixth before making his exit...Allowed just a two-run home run to Jose Vidro, but got the loss in a 2-0 Nationals win on 4/20. He went 6.2 IP, allowing six hits while walking three and fanning three...Went seven scoreless innings, allowing just three hits in a 4-1 Braves win over Houston on 5/7. It was his first scoreless outing of the year and it came on 11 days of rest...Pitched a solid game at Los Angeles on 5/13, allowing two runs on seven hits in 7.0 innings pitched, but did not figure in the 7-4 loss. Horacio was in line for the win after Adam LaRoche's eighth-inning grand slam put the Braves up 4-2, but the Dodgers came back to score five runs in the bottom of the inning for a 7-4 loss...Had first scoreless outing 6/22 vs. FLA since 5/7 vs. HOU, allowing just three hits and walking one in an 8-0 win. He lasted 5.0 innings before having to leave due to a slight groin pull...Earned his fourth straight win with a seven-inning, five-hit, one-run performance on 6/27 at FLA to cap an undefeated June...Went 4-0 with a 3.55 ERA in June and is 7-0 with a 3.91 ERA in 10 career starts in June...Tossed his first career shutout in Game 1 of 7/7 DH vs. Chicago. It was his third career complete game and his first since 5/20/04 vs. ARI. It was also only his second scoreless outing of the year and matched his career best for fewest hits allowed (3)...Posted his eighth quality start at NY on 7/14, but did not figure in the 6-3 loss. Allowed three runs on six hits in 7.0 IP, but Mike Piazza hit a three-run homer in the eighth inning for the 6-3 final...Cruised through six innings at SF on 7/19 before allowing a three-run homer in the seventh. Ended up going 7.1 innings, but did not figure in the 5-4 loss, as the Giants won in the ninth...Suffered a 3-2 loss at ARI on 7/24, allowing three runs on eight hits in 7.0 IP. The Braves were held to just four hits on the day, and the only offensive support came from Andruw Jones' two solo homers...Earned his ninth win vs. PIT on 7/29, allowing just one run on six hits in 8.0 IP. C. Jones' two-run double in the eighth inning led to the 2-1 win...Made lone relief appearance 8/14 vs. ARI in which he allowed five earned runs on six hits (three homers) in 3.2 IP. It was just his second career relief appearance...Posted a 5-3 win over WSH in Game 1 of 8/31 DH, pitching 7.0 innings and allowing three runs...Went without a decision in five of his last six outings...Lost a 12-4 decision at PHI on 9/14, allowing seven runs (six earned) in just 3.0 IP. It marked the shortest start of his career, as he allowed three runs in the first and four in the third (on a R. Martinez GS)...Did not earn a decision in the Braves' 10-6 loss to PHI on 9/21, as he went 6.0 IP and allowed five runs (four earned) on seven hits...Went 5.1 innings on 9/26 vs. COL, and left with a 5-2 lead, but the bullpen failed to hold it and the Rockies rallied for a 6-5 win.

Made just nine starts in an injury-shortened sophomore season. He registered eight quality starts...Missed more than three months of the season due to left shoulder tendinitis...Was a tough-luck 2-4, as the Braves scored just seven runs in his four losses and only 29 runs total in his nine starts...Of his 24 runs allowed, only 16 were earned and seven came with two outs...Held opponents to a .226 batting average...His last start came 5/25 at MON, and he pitched just one more game after that (9/26 vs. FLA)...At the time of his injury, ranked fifth in the National League with a 2.25 ERA. Ranked eighth in the league with a 2.43 mark at night...Pitched a solid game 4/15 at NY, but suffered his first loss in a 4-0 shutout. He pitched 7.0 innings allowed two runs on six hits...Did not earn a decision in the Braves' 9-5, extra-inning win on 4/21 at CIN. Horacio went 6.0 innings and allowed three runs on five hits...Allowed three runs (all with two outs) in the third inning en route to a 3-2 loss at SF on 4/26. Walked four batters (two intentional) and allowed six hits...Had his worst outing of the season at COL on 5/2, as the Braves concluded their 12-game roadtrip with a 13-4 loss, committing an Atlanta-record seven errors in the game. Horacio allowed eight runs in 3.1 IP, but none of the runs were earned...Snapped his career-high three-game losing streak with a 2-0 win at MIL on 5/14. Horacio pitched 8.0 innings of shutout ball, allowing five hits and four walks...Threw his second career complete game and first of the season 5/20 vs. ARI, allowing just three hits. His lone run allowed came on a Robby Hammock solo HR to lead off the eighth inning.
