Reinstated from disabled list on May 20 and made first appearance of season that night, taking loss at Mississippi (1.0 IP, 1 R). In first 10 games following reinstatement, went 1-2 with a 3.27 ERA (11.0/4). Over final 20 appearances of season, was 3-2 with one save and a 2.00 ERA (27.0/6). Earned first win on June 1 at Pensacola, tossing just 0.1 inning. On August 10 at Pensacola, logged season-high 3.0 innings. Did not allow a hit or run while striking out five. Recorded three five-strikeout games: June 30 vs. Pensacola, August 10 at Pensacola and August 14 vs. Birmingham. Tallied 16 multi-strikeout efforts. Allowed runs in just seven appearances and did not surrender more than two runs in any appearance. Opponents posted .158 average (6x38) with runners in scoring position. Average with RISP and two outs dropped to .045 (1x22).
