Was recalled on June 1 and made his MLB debut that day at New York Mets (3.2 IP, 4 H, 2 ER, 3 BB, HBP, 2 SO)...Struck out Mark Canha for first career strikeout...His next three appearances came in relief: 3.60 ERA (2 ER/5.0 IP), five strikeouts, four walks, .250 opponents' average...Left-handed batters went 2-for-11 (.182) against him...Was placed on the Injured List on June 18 (left elbow flexor strain).

Lee ranked among Nationals Minor Leaguers (min. 70.0 IP) in strikeouts per 9.0 innings (3rd, 12.2), opponents’ batting average (3rd, .239), home runs allowed per 9.0 innings (3rd, 0.70), fielding independent pitching (3rd, 3.60), groundball rate (4th, 47.8%) and strikeout-to-walk ratio (5th, 3.25)... Went 4-3 with a 4.32 ERA in 21 games (20 starts) for High-A Wilmington...He struck out 104 batters in 77.0 innings pitched while issuing 32 walks... He finished the season strong, going 3-0 with a 2.83 ERA, 46 strikeouts and a .174 opponents’ batting average in his final eight starts of the season... Was named High-A East Pitcher of the Week on Sept. 5 after tossing 6.0 shutout innings with one hit and seven strikeouts on Sept. 2 at Brooklyn... Posted a 4.66 ERA (5 ER/9.2 IP) with 10 strikeouts in nine games for Surprise of the Arizona Fall League.
