Dubose spent a chunk of the season with Double-A Bowie but emerged as a key left-handed specialist in the final two months. DuBose amassed a 4.66 ERA as a reliever and earned a win on Sept. 30 with 3 1/3 scoreless innings at Tampa Bay.

Suffered an injury-shortened season, making 14 starts before being placed on the disabled list on
June 20 with bone chips in his left elbow and missing the remainder of the season.
