Was recalled to Texas on June 23 when Craig Gentry was placed on the disabled list…debuted as a pinchrunner and was caught stealing second base in the 9th inning of an 8-5 win on June 23 at New York-AL…singled off the Yankees' Phil Hughes in his first big league plate appearance and finished 2-for-3 in first major league start on June 27 at NYY…was first Ranger to collect a hit in his first major league at-bat since Jurickson Profar on Sept. 2, 2012 at CLE…started 7 contests and appeared in 13 games overall during his first stint with the club, batting .300 (9-30) with a double, 2 RBI and 5 runs…was sent to Round Rock on Aug. 2 when Adam Rosales was added to the active roster, but returned to the club on Aug.5 when Rosales was designated for assignment…went 1-for-6 over 4 games/2 starts and was optioned back to Round Rock on Aug. 13 when Rosales was claimed on waivers and added to the active roster for a second time…was recalled on Sept. 3 for the remainder of the season, going 0-for-4 over 5 games…compiled a 1.000 fielding percentage (0 E/26 TC), logging time in left (5 games), center (5), and right (6).
