Spent his 2nd season with AA Akron, except for 11 days with AAA Buffalo...Combined to bat .267 (126-472)...Stole 44 bases to lead the Cleveland organization for the 3rd straight year...Finished 2nd in the Eastern League with 41 steals...Was named to the EL post-season All-Star team at second base...Hit safely in 9 of his first 10 games, batting .340 (17-50)...Was batting .298 when he was promoted to Buffalo on May 11...Hit safely in 8 of 11 games with Buffalo...Had his only 2-hit game in his last game with the Bison on May 21 vs. Syracuse...Was batting .287 through July 7 following a 4-game, 8-for-18 stretch...Went 4-for-31 over his next 8 games to drop his average to .272 for the season on July 18...His average remained between .270 and .278 the rest of the season, as he went 30-108 (.278) the rest of the year...With Akron, played 91 games at second base and 11 games at second base...Played second base in all 11 games with Buffalo...Played 28 games for Pastora de los Llanos in the Venezuelan Winter League...Batted .128 (5-39) in 28 games.
