Andrew Jerome Maggi (pronounced madg-ee)...Earned first-team All-Pac 10 honors and All-West Region honors during his sophomore season in 2010 with Arizona State....Hit the game-winning home run in Game Two of the Tempe Super Regional to beat Arkansas and send ASU to the College World Series in 2010....Is a fan of the NBA's Phoenix Suns....His brother, Beau, also played at Arizona State at the same time, becoming the sixth set of brothers to play for the college at the same time....Is a 2008 graduate of Brophy College (AZ) Preparatory…Earned letters in baseball as well as football while also helping Brophy helped to a state championship in football in 2007.

2022

Hit a combined .212 (62-for-292) with 16 doubles, one triple, 22 RBI and 22 stolen bases in 94 games between Lehigh Valley (Phillies’ Triple-A) and Indianapolis…Made 30 appearances (28 starts) at second base, 28 appearances (26 starts) at shortstop and 19 appearances (18 starts) at third base between Lehigh Valley and Indianapolis… Began the year with Lehigh Valley after being signed by Philadelphia as a Minor League free agent on March 4…Was placed on the seven-day injured list on 7/1 (retro to 6/30) before being activated on 7/15…Was acquired by the Pirates organization for cash considerations on 8/3 and assigned to Indianapolis…Went 1-for-3 with a double and run scored in his first game with Indianapolis on 8/6…Hit safely in four straight and seven of eight games from 8/21 to 9/4…Hit .333 (13-for-39) during a 10-game stretch from 9/1-17…Elected free agency on 11/10 before resigning with Pittsburgh on a Minor League deal on 12/20.

2019

Split the season between Double-A Pensacola and Triple-A Rochester, hitting .258 (110-for-427) with 76 runs, 23 doubles, four triples, 11 home runs, 47 RBI and 64 walks in 119 games...his 11 home runs set a new career high, while his four triples matched his best (also 2011)…marked his most games played since 2015 (125 games at Double-A Arkansas)…homered twice on June 7 at Pawtucket, his first career multi-homer game.

2018

Batted .272 (63-for-232) with 12 doubles, one triple, one home run, 14 RBI and 21 walks in 64 games with Triple-A Columbus in the Cleveland system.

2017

Spent the entire 2017 season at AAA Oklahoma City, batting .271 (69/255) in 84 games, appearing in 36 games at third base, 28 games at second and 18 games at shortstop...Missed the first month of the season (left hamstring strain) and was also on the D.L. in July (right quad) ...Hit .390 (23/59) out of the gate in May and .407 (11/27) for the year with RISP-2outs...Played for Team Italy in the WBC.
