Appeared in six games with the White Sox after spending most of the season with Class AAA Charlotte...his contract was purchased from the Knights on 8/16...went 2-10 (.200) with one RBI and one run scored with the Sox...made two starts at catcher...pitchers owned a 6.86 ERA (16 ER/21.0 Ip) when he was behind the plate...collected a single on 8/24 at Los Angeles-AL, his first major-league hit since 4/30/10 at New York-AL...drove in his only run on 9/4 at Detroit (RBI double)...hit .158 (21-133) with four home runs, nine RBI and 11 runs scored in 40 games with Charlotte...appeared in 39 games at catcher and one in left field...hit a seasonhigh .281 (9-32) with a homer and two RBI over nine games in April...collected a season-high three hits on 6/19 vs. Syracuse.

Spent the majority of the season at Class AAA Charlotte...appeared in seven games (five starts) with the White Sox, going 5-15 (.333) with one home run and two RBI...made his first-ever Opening Day roster...hit his first major-league home run on 4/15 at Toronto (off Dana Eveland)...was optioned to the Knights on 5/2 and hit .225 (46-204) with two homers and 11 RBI in 59 games.

Combined to hit .216 (48-222) with two home runs and 12 RBI over 65 games between Class AAA Charlotte and Class AA Birmingham...began the season with the Knights, where he hit .216 (33-153) before being optioned to Birmingham...collected a season-high three hits on 4/19 vs. Durham...was on the Birmingham disabled list from 8/15-9/4 with a strained left hamstring.
2008
Was limited to just 12 games with Class AAA Charlotte...dislocated his right kneecap on 5/1 at Buffalo and missed the remainder of the season.

Appeared in eight games with the White Sox after his contract was purchased from Class AAA Charlotte on 9/1 ... hit .200 (3-15) with six strikeouts ... made four starts as catcher (Sox went 1-3) ... Sox pitchers owned a 5.18 ERA (19 ER/33.0 IP) when he was behind the plate ... opponents were successful in all eight stolen base attempts ... made his major-league debut on 9/4 at Detroit, going 1-2 ... singled off Kenny Rogers for his first hit ... combined to hit .255 (93-365) with 20 doubles, six home runs, 30 RBI and 13 stolen bases in 106 games between Class AA Birmingham and Charlotte ... went 13-14 in stolen base attempts ... threw out 32.1 percent (45-140) of attempted basestealers with the Barons and Knights ... began the season with Birmingham and batted .269 (78-290) with six homers and 27 RBI in 87 games ... named to the Southern League midseason All- Star Team ... reached base safely in his first 10 games with the Barons, hitting .419 (13-31) ... hit .200 (15-75) with three RBI in 19 games with Charlotte.
2006
Combined to hit .265 (104-392) with 18 doubles, seven home runs and 35 RBI in 115 games with Class A Winston-Salem and Class AA Birmingham ... threw out 32.4 percent (36-111) of attempted base stealers ... made 106 appearances at catcher, nine at designated hitter and one at first base ... batted .296 (37-125) vs. left-handers and .251 (67-267) vs. righties ... began the season at Winston-Salem and hit .262 (87-332) in 97 games ... went 4-4 with two doubles and a home run vs. Salem ... hit .322 (28-87) in May, but just .188 (13-69) in June ... was promoted to the Barons on 8/13 and appeared in 18 games, hitting .283 (17-60) ... was hitless in his first three Class AA contests before compiling a season-long 11-game hitting streak (.390, 16-41) from 8/19-9/1 ... was 1-11 (.091) over his final four games.
2005
Spent the entire season at Class A Kannapolis, hitting .264 (47-178) with one home run and 22 RBI in 54 games ... missed the first two months of the season after suffering a fractured right ring finger at the end of spring training ... made 48 appearances as catcher and six as the designated hitter ... threw out 29.1 (16-55) percent of attempted base stealers ... hit .313 (25-80) at home compared to .216 (21-97) on the road ... was reinstated from the disabled list on 6/6 ... hit safely in a season-high seven straight games from 7/14-22, going 10-26 (.385) with a home run and eight RBI ... hit his lone home run and drove in three RBI on 7/21 vs. Charleston-SC ... batted a team-high .391 (27-69) with one home run and 12 RBI in July ... was hitting .300 on 8/5, but hit just .177 (8-45) the remainder of the season.
