Split the season between the Marlins and Blue Jays organizations, playing with both twice... combined at the Major League level to hit .202 (20-for-99) with 2 doubles, 1 triple, 2HR and 6SB in 69 games... attended spring training with Florida, was released on 3/30, signed with Toronto on 4/6 and played at Single-A Dunedin and Triple-A Las Vegas before being released on 6/8... signed back with Florida on 6/15 and played with the Major League club until being designated for assignment on 8/24 and claimed off waivers by the Blue Jays on 8/26-where he played for the remainder of the season.

Spent most of the season in the minor leagues, where he combined to hit .304 in 57g at Class AA Chattanooga and Class AAA Louisville...appeared in 31g during 2 stints with the Reds (13g from 7/6-7/27, 18g from 9/4-10/1)...made 5 starts (3gs in CF, 2gs in RF)...almost made the club out of spring training (17g, .298, 4hr, 7rbi) but suffered a sprained left ankle on 3/24...began the season on the minor league disabled list with that injury...was reinstated on 6/3 and appeared in 13g for Chattanooga before he was promoted to Louisville on 6/19...after a 13-game stint with the Reds was designated for assignment on 7/29...cleared waivers in 8/1 and was outrighted to Louisville...spent the rest of the minor league season there...was promoted to Cin on 9/4 and played in 18 more games, including 4 starts...led the Bats with 4 triples...on 10/5 cleared waivers and was outrighted to Louisville...4 days later elected free agency...on 10/27 was re-signed to a minor league contract for the 2007 season.
2005
In October 2004 was claimed off waivers by the Tigers from the Braves and spent the '05 season with Det's Class AAA affiliate in Toledo...in 108g for the Mud Hens hit .234 with 8hr, 45rbi and 22 stolen bases in 29 attempts...on 10/3 elected minor league free agency...on 10/28 was signed by the Reds to a minor league contract and was invited to 2006 Major League spring training camp.
2004
Began the season on the Braves' Opening Day roster...from 6/23-7/14 was on the disabled list with a strained left elbow...from 7/5-7/14 made 9 rehab apps for Class A Rome and Myrtle Beach...on 7/15 was returned from his rehabilitation assignment, was reinstated from the DL and was optioned to Class AAA Richmond...spent the rest of the minor league season there until he was promoted when rosters expanded... hit safely in his last 4 apps of the season, the longest hitting streak of his career...twice produced a career-high 2 doubles in a game (4/28 at SF, 5/29 at Phi)...on 5/22 vs LA belted his first career pinch-hit homer (off Jeff Weaver)...in 13g from 5/22-6/8 hit .333 (8r, 3 2b, 3hr, 9rbi)...played in all 5g of the National League Division Series vs the Astros.
2003
Played the entire season with AAA Syracuse in the Blue Jays' farm system...Was tied for the team lead with 11 SB, was 2nd with 10 HR and was T2nd with 4 triples...Had 10 RBI in first 6 games of the season...Had team season-high 5 RBI on a 2-run HR and a 3-run triple May 8 at Charlotte...Hit in season-high 5 straight games July 25-29 (7-for-17)...Hit a pair of homers May 16 vs. Norfolk...Had 4 RBI and a 3-run HR April 14 vs. Buffalo.
2002
Spent most of the season at Class AA Tennessee, where in 86g he hit .297 with 15 stolen bases...was a Southern League All-Star and Sportsticker's Southern League Star of Stars...ranked fifth in the SL in slugging (.471) and eighth in BA...was Southern League Player of the Week for 5/31-6/6 (.435, 9r, 1hr, 9rbi)...played for the American League team in the Double-A All-Star Game at Norwich and earned his team's MVP Award...on 7/18 was promoted to Tor and spent the rest of the season with the Blue Jays...on 7/24 at Bal hit his first career home run (solo off Travis Driskill).

Tied for fifth in Class-AA Southern League in triples (6) while playing for Tennessee... Had eight-game hitting streak for Class-A Dunedin May 24-June 2 and another eight-game hitting streak at Tennessee July 3-12... Batted .311 (37-for-119) with 17 RBI and 20 runs in July for Tennessee... Had two home runs against West Tenn July 18 while with Tennessee... Batted .326 (15-for-46) with runners in scoring position and less than two outs for Tennessee.

Was selected by the Blue Jays from the Reds in the December 1999 Rule 5 Draft and began the '00 season with Tor...from 6/6-8/31 was on the disabled list with an injury to his left big toe...on 6/19 had surgery to remove a pin that had been inserted into that doe during an 11/4/98 bunionectomy...was reinstated from the DL when rosters expanded on 9/1...on 4/6 vs KC made his Major League debut as a defensive replacement in CF...on 4/15 vs Sea recorded his first career hit, a single off John Halama.
