2019

Made his Major League debut in 2019 with Pittsburgh, pitching in 15 games, including 14 starts...also saw time at Double A Altoona and Triple A Indianapolis, combining to start 16 games... Opened the season with Altoona and did not walk a batter in 25.0 innings over four starts... Named International League Pitcher of the Week for the week ending May 5...made two starts during the week and had a 1.32 ERA (13.2IP/2ER) with 13 strikeouts... Turned in his longest start of the season on May 10 at Lehigh Valley, tossing 8.0 innings and allowing one run on three hits with seven strikeouts...retired the final 18 batters he faced in the contest... Started five games with Indianapolis in May, compiling a 2-1 record with a 2.05 ERA (30.2IP/7ER) and 26 strikeouts... Made his Major League debut on June 15 at Miami, giving up three runs, two earned, on six hits with three strikeouts in 4.0 innings...struck out Starlin Castro leading off the second inning to record his first Major League strikeout... Picked up the first win of his big league career on June 26 at Houston, giving up one run on five hits with three walks and three strikeouts in 6.0 innings... 2018

Went 5-6 with a 3.65 ERA in 17 minor league appearances (16 starts)...Began season with Double-A Altoona, where he posted a 1.46 ERA and a 0.89 WHIP in 24.2ip during the month of April...Picked up first professional hit and RBI on 5/1 vs. Richmond...Made lone relief outing (third career) on 5/7 vs. Bowie and pitched 5.0 innings (0er) in relief of Joe Musgrove, who was on MLB rehab...Went 3-0 with a 1.30 ERA over his first seven outings (six starts) thru 5/13 and was ranked third in the Eastern League in ERA...Was placed on the 7-day disabled list on 5/29 (retro to 5/26) with a right shoulder strain; ranked seventh in the league with 2.79 ERA at the time... Was activated from the disabled list and assigned to High-A Bradenton on 7/23...Returned to Altoona on 8/5... Went 2-2 with a 2.63 ERA (24.0ip/7er) in his first four starts after coming off the D.L. before going 0-2 with a 13.50 ERA (15.0ip/10er) in his last two regular season outings... Allowed career highs in runs (10), hits (13) and home runs (5) in 3.0-inning stint on 9/3 at Bowie in Curve's regular season finale...Pitched Game 4 of the Division Series on 9/8 vs. Akron and allowed five runs over 2.1 innings in loss as Curve were eliminated from postseason.

2017

Spent majority of season with Bradenton and was selected to the Florida State League mid-season All-Star team...Was Bradenton's Opening Day starter on 4/6 at Charlotte (4.2ip/4r/2er)...Won four of his first five decisions thru 5/23...Made his second career relief appearance on 5/13 and retired all three batters he faced...Was promoted to Double-A on 6/20 and made lone appearance with Altoona on 6/21...Was placed on the 7-day disabled list on 6/24 and missed remainder of the season due to a right pectoral strain.
