Improved his save total for the third consecutive season...saved a career-high 41 games, eighth-best in the Majors and the only pitcher in baseball to save 40 or more games on a sub-.500 team ... Became the second Devil Ray in history to reach the 40-save plateau, joining Roberto Hernandez, who saved a club-record 43 in 1999 ...
