Began the season with Scranton/Wilkes-Barre (AAA), where he had 28 multi-hit games...Hit .322 (29-90) with RISP and .364 (16-44) with RISP and 2 outs...Had a 14-game hitting streak, 4/9-5/5 (.321, 18-56, 4 2B, 6 RBI)...Recalled on 7/29 and started consecutive games at SS, 7/29-30 vs FLA...Collected his 1st ML hit in his 1st ML start, 7/29 vs FLA (Dontrelle Willis)...Overall, made 4 starts: 2 at SS and 2 at 2B...Optioned to Reading (AA) on 8/28 and started 8 games at SS before being recalled on 9/5...Remained in the major leagues for the rest of the season.
