2014

In his Major League debut made 3 starts and 2 relief apps...among all Reds minor leaguers ranked T4th with 10 wins...spent most of the season at Class AA Pensacola, where he made 26 apps before he was promoted to the Reds on 8/22...on 8/26 vs Cubs celebrated his 24th birthday by throwing a perfect ninth inning in his Major League debut...struck out his first 2 batters (Wellington Castillo, Chris Valaika)...was optioned to Class AAA Louisville following that start, when Dylan Axelrod was promoted, and returned to Cin as 1 of 10 September callups to make 1 relief appearance followed by 3 straight starts...made his first big league start in the 3-2 walkoff loss on 9/12 at Mil and in his first career plate appearance singled off Kyle Lohse...didn't allow a baserunner until Carlos Gomez led off the fourth inning by reaching on a strikeout/wild pitch and didn't allow a hit until Jonathan Lucroy's RBI-single 1 out and 2 batters later...made his last 2 starts in a 3-1 loss on 9/17 at Chi and a 5-0 loss on 9/24 vs Mil.

2013

In his first season at Class AAA went 7-14, 5.86 in 23 starts and 5 relief apps for Louisville...established a Bats club record for losses in a season...tied for the International League lead in losses and ranked T3rd in walks (73)...went 6-12, 5.40 as a starter and 1-2, 10.97 in relief...entered the season rated the fourth-best prospect in the organization...pitched for Escogido in the Dominican Winter League (7g, 0-1, 1.74, 10.1ip, 5h, 1bb, 12k).

2012

In his debut at Class AA spent the season at Pensacola, where he was a mid-season Southern League All-Star ... ranked among the SL pitching leaders in ERA (3.01, 2nd), strikeouts (126, 3rd) and opponents' BA (.216, 2nd) while leading the Wahoos in wins (8) and innings pitched (143.1) ... among all Reds farmhands ranked third in ERA and fourth in strikeouts ... following the season made 5 starts for Leones del Escogido in the Dominican Winter League (1-0, 3.48, 20.2ip, 23h, 6bb, 10k, 3hbp, 0hr) ... on 11/19 was added to the 40-man roster.

2011

Following the season was rated by Baseball America the 11th-best prospect in the Pioneer League and the 15th-best prospect in the organization...was named the Most Outstanding Pitcher of the Reds' Instructional League.
