At Class A Sarasota and Class AA Chattanooga combined to hit .281 with 12hr and 61rbi in 104 apps...began the season at Sarasota and made all 58 of his apps there before he was promoted on 6/27...finished the season with the Lookouts...was the organization's Player of the Month for June (.417, 7hr, 17rbi)... in Baseball America's post-season tools survey was rated the best defensive catcher in the organization... following the season played for the Surprise Rafters in the prestigious Arizona Fall League (13g, .255, 1hr, 4rbi)...on 11/20 was added to the 40-man roster.
