Snider had five stints with the Royals in 2022, his first season in the big leagues, and he ended the season with the club. ..He won his debut with on April 9 vs. Cleveland, becoming the 20th pitcher in Royals history to win in his debut and the first since Foster Griffin on July 27, 2020. ..He began his career with 5.1 scoreless innings over six appearances, and he pitched in 27 of the club’s first 56 games during his first stint from Opening Day through June 9. ..Snider pitched to a 2.70 ERA (3 ER in 10.0 IP) through his first 12 appearances through May 3, but yielded a 12.66 ERA (15 ER in 10.2 IP) over his next 14 outings, and was optioned on June 10. ..He pitched in 15 games over his final four stints in the Majors and all but three of those appearances were scoreless. ..Snider stranded 25 of the 31 runners he inherited (80.6%), including each of his first 19, which marked the fourth-longest streak to begin a career since 1957.
