Chamberlain resides in Reno, Nev...Attended Oregon State University from 2018-20, where—as a freshman—he matched a College World Series record with 11 strikeouts in one relief outing, eighy of which came on his curveball... Graduated from Reno High School (Nev.) in 2017, where he hit .485 with 24 extra-base hits and 20 stolen bases as a senior, while pitching to a 9-1 record with a 1.06 ERA and 130 strikeouts in 59.0 innings on the mound.

Chamberlain split the year between Double-A Northwest Arkansas (20 games) and Triple-A Omaha (26), combining for a 4.82 ERA (30 ER in 56.0 IP) and 84 strikeouts... With the Naturals, he posted a 1.99 ERA (7 ER in 31.2 IP) and allowed just 13 hits (.120 opponents’ batting average) before earning his promotion to Omaha June 19... From May 12-June 17, he scattered just two hits in 16.1 innings, allowing just three runs (2 ER)... He struggled following his promotion, allowing 15 runs through his first 13 games through July, but he was excellent in August, posting a 2.35 ERA (2 ER in 7.2 IP) with 10 strikeouts... His final outing of the year came on Sept. 24 at Columbus when he threw 2.0 hitless innings...he did not allow a hit over his final three games of the year from Sept. 15-24.
