Began the season with Double-A Wichita; designated for assignment by the Twins on 5/21 and claimed off waivers by the Orioles on 5/25...Made his organizational debut with Double-A Bowie on 6/8 (G1) at Harrisburg; made three starts for the Baysox, going 1-0 with a 0.69 ERA (1 ER/13.0 IP) and 18 strikeouts compared to four walks...Promoted to Triple-A Norfolk on 6/21, where he finished the season; made his Triple-A debut on 6/25 at Lehigh Valley...Worked a season-high 6.2 innings on 9/23 at Durham...From 8/23-9/23, the Tides won six straight games that Vallimont pitched in...Appeared in one Spring Training game with the Twins on 3/21 at BAL.

2021

Began season on Double-A Wichita's 7-Day Injured List with back spasms...pitched one game on rehab assignment with Low-A Fort Myers on May 16...reinstated and transferred to Wichita on May 22...Went 2-2, 3.22 ERA (22.1 IP, 8 ER) with 10 walks and 34 strikeouts in five June starts...Struck out eight-plus batters in seven different outings, including a season-high of nine three times: June 11 at Tulsa, June 27 at Midland and Sept. 1 at Arkansas...Combined to go 5-7, 5.84 ERA (94.0 IP, 61 ER) with 61 walks, 136 strikeouts and a 13.0 strikeouts-per-9.0 IP ratio in 22 starts between both levels combined...held right-handed batters to a .233 (37-for-159) average and left-handed batters to a .265 (41-for-155) average...Led the Wind Surge in strikeouts (130), second in starts (21) and third in innings pitched (91.0 IP)...Added to Twins 40-man roster Nov. 19...Ranked as 22nd-best prospect in Twins system by MLB.com, entering 2022.

Made his professional debut with Short-Season A Aberdeen...Did not allow an earned run in 13 games (17.0 IP).
