Posted a 7-8 record, 4.88 ERA (131.0 IP, 71 ER) in 26 appearances (25 starts), with 55 walks and 124 strikeouts across Single-A Ft. Myers (8 games/starts), Double-A Pensacola (14 games, 13 starts) and Triple-A Rochester (4 games/starts)...Led all Twins minor league pitchers with 25 games started...his 124 strikeouts tied for fourth most in the organization and his 131.0 innings pitched were second...Began the season at Single-A Ft. Myers, where he went 3-2 with a 6.51 ERA (37.1 IP, 27 ER) before being promoted to Double-A Pensacola on May 27...on May 18 matched his career high with eight strikeouts across 4.2 innings in a no-decision...Struck out seven batters in his first career Double-A appearance on May 29, allowing four hits across 5.0 scoreless innings, with no walks and one hit batter...went 3-4 with a 3.60 ERA (75.0 IP, 30 ER) in 14 games (13 starts) for the Blue Wahoos, with 24 walks and 73 strikeouts... equaled his career high with eight strikeouts on July 2, yielding two hits and two walks over 7.0 shutout innings...Transferred to Triple-A Rochester on August 9 and finished the season with the Red Wings...made four starts, posting a 6.75 ERA (18.2 IP, 14 ER)...his best Triple-A start came on August 15, when he allowed just two runs over 5.0 innings, with no walks and five strikeouts.

Myers, where he spent the entire year...led all qualified Twins minor league pitchers in ERA; tied for third in starts and winning percentage, while ranking fifth in opponent batting average (.260)...over the second half of the season, was 5-2 with a 1.87 ERA (62.2 IP, 13 ER) with 19 walks and 34 strikeouts; first half of the season was 1-4 with a 3.88 ERA (55.2 IP, 24 ER)...set a new career best with eight strikeouts in 4.2 innings on April 7 but took the loss after allowing five runs...posted a 1.50 ERA (30.0 IP, 5 ER) in June, followed by a 1.98 ERA (27.1 IP, 6 ER) in July.
2017
Began first professional season with Rookie Elizabethton...made six appearances for the E-Twins...allowed three runs in his first two starts (5.2 IP), but did not allow an earned run in his next four appearances (3 starts) over 17.0 IP (2 unearned runs)...owned a 0.37 ERA (24.1 IP, 1 ER) in six July appearances (5 starts), his lowest monthly ERA in his career...transferred to Single-A Cedar Rapids July 30...made six starts for the Kernels, allowing runs in three of the six.
