Recalled from Toledo by the Tigers on June 1 -- made his major league debut that night versus the New York Yankees, suffering the loss after allowing six runs in 3.1 innings of work. ... Earned his first major league win on June 7 versus Cleveland. ... Optioned to Toledo by the Tigers for the remainder of the season on June 15. ... Went the distance in back-to-back starts August 15 at Syracuse and August 21 at Lehigh Valley -- tied for third in the International League with two complete games ... Named the eighth-best prospect and rated as possessing the best curveball in the Tigers organization and named the 18th-best prospect in the International League following the season by Baseball America.
