2015

Posted a career-best 2.95 ERA (20 ER, 61.0 IP) with 55 strikeouts against 21 walks in 35 relief appearances for the Cardinals…recorded two saves in two chances and allowed a .223 (50-for-224) opponents average....Signed as a minor league free agent by St. Louis in February before the start of the season, making the Cardinals Opening Day roster after having his contract selected on 3/30....Over his first 13 outings of the season from 4/12-6/4 he posted a 0.41 ERA (1 ER, 22.0 IP), striking out 19 against eight walks while allowing a .162 (12-for-74) opponents average… over the rest of the season from 6/8 on he went 1-2 with two saves in two chances and a 4.38 ERA (19 ER, 39.0 IP) with 36 strikeouts against 13 walks....Posted a career-best 20.1 inning scoreless streak from 4/26-6/8....Overall on the season allowed a .183 (17-for-93) average to left-handed hitters and a .252 (33-for-131) average to right-handed hitters....Pitched in one game of the National League Division Series for St. Louis against the Cubs, working 2.0 scoreless inning, allowing no hits and just one walk.

NO APRIL SHOWERS: Posted a 1.84 ERA (14.2IP/3ER) in eight April appearances and held opponents to a .093 average allowed just four hits in his 14.2 IP... START ME UP: Came out of the bullpen to make 13 starts from May 23-Aug. 3... Made his first start on May 23 at NYY and pitched 5.0 innings, allowed one run on two hits and picked up the win... Had a stretch of five consecutive quality starts from June 14-July 7... Finished 5-3 as a starter and posted a 5.15 ERA (73.1IP/42ER)... JUST DOESN'T LOSE: Went 84 appearances without a loss (Last loss: Aug. 17, 2009 at PIT), going 8-0 over that stretch... Had the streak snapped on June 19 at CIN... Allowed only five hits in 13 innings for a .114 opponents average... From May 1-July 28 posted a 6.75 ERA in 34 outings... THE SOUNDS OF NASHVILLE: Was optioned to Nashville (AAA) on July 29... In 11 appearnces, recorded a save and allowed only one hit in his final four outings before returning to Milwaukee in September... FEEL GOOD FINISH: Picked up a victory and did not allow a run in four September outings for the Brewers.
