Spent the entire 2013 season with Triple-A Sacramento in the A's organization…went 4-0 with a 3.57 ERA (63.0IP, 25ER, 66K, 9BB) in 51 relief appearances…was 23-for-24 in save opportunities, converting each of his final 23 attempts…produced a 2.45 ERA (51.1IP, 14ER) in his final 44G beginning 4/29…recorded a scoreless streak of 12G and 13.1IP from 6/10-7/11 (19K, 0BB)…had 13 saves in August…recorded only 1BB in his final 31G (33.1IP) and 0BB in his final 17G (18.0IP)…allowed 0R in his final 6G (6.0IP)… surrendered 0R in 37 of his 51G…stranded 9-of-13 inherited runners…his 23 saves led all A's minor leaguers and ranked fourth in the Pacific Coast League…had the lowest BB/9.0IP ratio (1.29) and allowed the fewest baserunners per 9.0IP (10.29) in the PCL…led the River Cats in appearances.

Was a non-roster invitee with HOU... Spent entire season with Round Rock...Finished 4th on team in triples and 5th in HR... Spent the offseason working with Nolan Ryan, who was then with HOU as Special Assistant to the General Manager, and others on conversion to the mound.

Spent the second season at Triple A Salt Lake in the Angels organization...finished third on the team with 25 doubles...belted his 100th career minor league home run on July 9 at Colorado Springs...named the Angels organization Player of the Month for June after batting .341 (30x88) with nine home runs and 19 RBI...hit two home runs on June 3 vs. Portland, including the game-tying blast in the eighth inning...notched the pinch-hit, game-winning homer in the ninth vs. Sacramento on May 29...posted a season-long, 13-game hitting streak from May 5-23 (.333, 16x48)...hit a two-out grand slam on May 21 at Oklahoma City...the Stingers hit back-to-back home runs on four occasions and he was involved in three. Houston's Triple A affiliate.

Played in the Angels organization...set the franchise record with 145 strikeouts...recorded an 11-game hitting streak from June 16-25 (.364, 16x44)...went 4x4 with a career-high three home runs, six RBI and four runs scored on June 10 vs. Sacramento - three homers tied the franchise record...after no home runs in April, he hit seven homers in May...collected his 400th career minor league RBI on 4/12 vs. Sacramento.
