Shuttled between Triple-A New Orleans and Miami, combining to post a 5-2 record with two saves and 2.79 ERA (67.2 ip/21 er) in 64 outings... Opened season in Zephyrs bullpen and was summoned to Miami three times over course of year; June 5-July 1, July 30-August 21 and September 1 through rest of season... In first appearance of season with New Orleans, April 9 at Omaha, allowed three runs in 2.1 innings. Was one of just two appearances at Triple-A level allowing more than one run; other was May 14 at El Paso, when he allowed four runs in 0.2 ip... Between those outings, allowed total of three runs over 12 appearances (11.2 ip, 2.31 ERA)... Following May 14 outing, allowed just two runs in 18 appearances to finish out Triple-A season (20.0 ip, 0.90 ERA)...Earned first save of season on July 7 at Nashville, and followed NONE HONORS AND AWARD S with second save in next appearance, July 9 at Nashville... Combined to go 6-2 with 2.60 ERA (69.1 ip/20 er) in 49 games between Double-A Jacksonville, Triple-A New Orleans and Miami...Began season in Jacksonville bullpen, going 4-1 with 2.51 ERA (43.0/12) in 25 games...Missed most of July following stint with silver medal-winning Team USA at Pan-Am Games in Toronto. Appeared in four games with Team USA, allowing one run on three hits and three walks while striking out six over 4.2 innings...Tossed 2.0 or more innings in 11 of 25 games with Suns. Reached season-high of 3.2 innings in April 25 win over Birmingham...In that game, allowed just three hits while striking out season-best six with no runs and no walks allowed...Tallied 13 multi-strikeout games, and six times recorded three-or-more. Promoted to New Orleans on July 31, making just one appearance with Zephyrs. Tossed 1.1 scoreless on July 31 vs. Colorado Springs...Had contract selected by Miami on August 3 and made Major League debut that day against Mets, tossing 1.0 scoreless inning, allowing one hit and one walk while striking out two...In 23 games with Marlins, posted 2-1 record and 2.88 ERA (25.0/8) with 13 walks and 18 strikeouts...
