Spent most of the season at AAA Columbus, putting up prolific numbers for the Clippers, leading the International League and Indians organization with 33 home runs...Was tied for the 11th-most homers in all of Minor League Baseball ... Among International League batters he was third in slugging pct. (.567), sixth in OPS (.911), tied for sixth in extra-base hits (56) and seventh in total bases (228) ... His 74 RBI were fifth among Indians farmhands ... Homered in three straight games, May 22-24, and hit a pair of homers with a grand slam and 6 RBI on May 28 at Norfolk ...
