Baseball America. Began the season at Double-A Arkansas, where he went 6-6 with a 2.99 ERA in 19 starts. Held Texas League opponents to a .222 batting average with 111 strikeouts in 114.1 innings. Was selected to the All-Star Futures Game. Was traded to Milwaukee, along with SS Jean Segura and RHP Johnny Hellweg, in exchange
for RHP Zack Greinke on 7/27. Was assigned to Double-A Huntsville, where he went 0-2 with a 7.24 ERA in 7 starts. Pitched for Licey in the Dominican Winter League.
