Began the season in Memphis (AAA) before making his Major League debut in June at Busch Stadium... Made his Major League debut in relief vs. CIN (6/6). Threw a scoreless inning, striking out Jonathan India looking for his first strikeout... Threw 2.0 scoreless appearances (6/6-12), before an option back to Memphis on June 15... Was 3-3 with a 4.13 ERA in 13 games started (61.0 IP) and 3-1 with a 6.32 ERA in six relief appearances (15.2 IP) in Memphis (AAA)... Hurled 6.0 scoreless innings of one-hit ball in relief at Louisville (7/22) striking out five batters, on the back-end of a Daniel Ponce de Leon rehab start... Was 4-0 with a 4.07 ERA in five July appearances, three of which were starts. Struck out 22 batters in 24.1 innings pitched... Was placed on the 7-day Injured List (8/21-9/14) with a right pectoralis strain, his first career stint on the minor league baseball injured list... Returned from the Injured List and made three relief appearances in Memphis to finish the season... Pitched for Aguilas in the Dominican Winter League.

2020

Did not play due to COVID protocols canceling the Minor League Baseball season... Practiced at the Alternate Training Site in Springfield, Mo., but did not travel to St. Louis or on the road with the Taxi Squad...Pitched for the Aguilas of the Dominican Winter League making six appearances with four starts, posting an 0-1 record with a 3.29 ERA and 11 strikeouts over 13.2 innings pitched.
