Full name is Andrew Eugene Pettitte...he and his wife, Laura, have four children: sons Joshua Blake (15), Jared (11) and Luke Jackson (4), and daughter, Lexy Grace (9)... was selected by the Yankees in the 22nd round of the 1990 First-Year Player Draft, but chose to attend San Jacinto (Texas) Junior College... was eventually signed by Joe Robison on 5/25/91... graduated from Deer Park (Texas) High School... his father-in-law has been the pastor of the same Deer Park Baptist church for more than 40 years... Andy and Laura are members of the church, where they teach youth classes and sing in the choir...Participated in a game of Tee Ball on the White House South Lawn during the summer of 2005 while the Astros were in town playing the Washington Nationals... the game featured teams from Little League Baseball's Challenger Division for physically and mentally disabled children... President George W.
