Name is pronounced AHN-drays TOER-ehz...Married (Soannie)...son, Diego (June 19, 2004)...Andres Torres, Jr. graduated from Dr. Carlos Gonzalez (PR) High School...Attended Miami-Dade Community College, where he played two seasons...Was born in Paterson, NJ before moving to Aguada, Puerto Rico as a youngster...A film documenting his life titled "Gigante" was released in the spring of 2012...the goal is to help increase awareness about A.D.H.D., a disease from which Torres struggles...Goes by the nickname "Yungo."
